Underground train in an underground terrain.
But in 19th century US, an underground railroad saved people, not destroyed them. :)

Thanks! Yes, it's based on the Tube - I had the idea while waiting for a train, oddly enough. "Body of a long " seemed like the best match for the train itself. |
