See, people, newt(kinds of) small animal, like a lizard, which spends most of
its time in the water.
        [ Oxford's Student's Dictionary of Current English ]

"Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble."

Good one!
Btw. The ads float over the comic making it very dificult to read in Konqueror.

It is not just konqueror, it is pretty much anyone in any browser using fonts a different size than whoever laid out the pageThese strange creatures live mostly on the surface of the
earth, gathering together in societies of various forms, but
occasionally a stray will descend into the depths and commit
mayhem among the dungeon residents who, naturally, often
resent the intrusion of such beasts. They are capable of
using weapons and magic, and it is even rumored that the
Wizard of Yendor is a member of this species.

. if cells-per-row is not of concern it would be better to float the cells so they arrange into rows themselves within a fixed width frame.

I get it in Konqueror... Try reading it on the Print pageThese strange creatures live mostly on the surface of the

Funny thing is that I've had this happen to me in Nethack. Not with newts, of course, but it's quite annoying to have five tripeIf you start from scratch, cooking tripe is a long-drawn-out
affair. Fresh whole tripe calls for a minimum of 12 hours of
cooking, some time-honored recipes demanding as much as 24.
To prepare fresh tripe, trim if necessary. Wash it thoroughly,
soaking overnight, and blanch, for 1/2 hour in salted water.
Wash well again, drain and cut for cooking. When cooked, the
texture of tripe should be like that of soft gristle. More
often, alas, because the heat has not been kept low enough,
it has the consistency of wet shoe leather.

rations and a good opportunity while a squad of orcs is chasing you down.
And why is an ad for Live Maine Lobster coming up in the Googleads bar?

Curiously Google Ads seems to lag for about a day with me... It's currently advertising stuff connected with rats. As another example, during the jellybane episode (Eps 20051028), I got ads for something called "absinthe", but the next day; jelly! Go figure.

Nice comic, "a fan"!

(BTW, Dion, I have Firefox with default text colour set to white and default background colour set to black. I can read the comic (white on black), but none of the comments or the form (white on white)).
