Rub lampWhen he came to himself he told his mother what had passed,
and showed her the lamp and the fruits he had gathered in the
garden, which were in reality precious stones. He then asked
for some food.

"Alas! child," she said, "I have nothing in the house, but I
have spun a little cotton and will go and sell it."

Aladdin bade her keep her cotton, for he would sell the lamp
instead. As it was very dirty she began to rub it, that it
might fetch a higher price. Instantly a hideous genie
appeared, and asked what she would have. She fainted away,
but Aladdin, snatching the lamp, said boldly:
"Fetch me something to eat!"

For what do you wish
Amulet of YendorThis mysterious talisman is the object of your quest. It is
said to possess powers which mere mortals can scarcely
comprehend, let alone utilize. The gods will grant the gift of
immortality to the adventurer who can deliver it from the
depths of Moloch's Sanctum and offer it on the appropriate high
altar on the Astral Plane.

Janos: Before the comic Dudley gets a wish, he wishes for Amulet of"The complete Amulet can keep off all the things that make
people unhappy -- jealousy, bad temper, pride, disagreeableness,
greediness, selfishness, laziness. Evil spirits, people called
them when the Amulet was made. Don't you think it would be nice
to have it?"
"Very," said the children, quite without enthusiasm.
"And it can give you strength and courage."
"That's better," said Cyril.
"And virtue."
"I suppose it's nice to have that," said Jane, but not with much
interest.
"And it can give you your heart's desire."
"Now you're talking," said Robert.

Yeah, about time someone else writes the strips for once...
Not that I'm complaining, mind.

Eemeli: genies aren't stupid, otherwise Dudley could keep wishing everything to be as before his first wish, only with him having some more goodies :p

L: it was for once indeed, I got hit by a freak bolt of inspiration, but I could only wish for your daily dose of the stuff.

Genie: "And what is your third wish?"

Man: "Huh? But I didn't make my first two already!"

Genie: "Yes, you did: your second wish was for everything to be as it was before, so that's why you don't remember them."

Man: "Alright, I wanna be irresistible to women!"

Genie: (disappearing) "Funny, that was your first wish...."
