Am I totally wrong or is this a Get Smart reference? I haven't seen any James Bond movies - except for occasional action scenes :( |

If it was Get Smart, he would talk into his elbow while listening to his wrist. |

Rowan Atkinson or whatever his name is.
There's a game I play with an island called Lima Island, and on that island is a shop called Rowan Wrights among other bean-related things... |

Dudley might be referring to Cetra's comment (from http://www.nicolaas.net/dudley/index.php?f=20040922):
<quote>
So, continuing in the James Bond vein....
This'd be an... Agent(?) class. The deity would have to be some monarch-type, maybe. The would be a 007-ish mission, and theleader-type person would be M, right? Q would run a (free) tool shop , as well as give you some kind of mechanical steed ("Please try not to wreck it this time, Dudley.")...
This could actually work. =)
</quote>
The Spy might have intrinsic stealth at XL1, speed at XL5, and the starting inventory might contain a sleep, a slow monster, a blessed of invisibility, and in Slash'EM, some kind of firearms. But the Spy is restricted in most weapons classes and all spells except escape spells. |

I'm pretty sure the shoe phone is a Get Smart ref. I've not seen the show in quite a while, but I remember the shoe phone. |

That is most definently a Get Smart referrence. He's had phones built into nearly everything, including his suit, fishing rod, etc, but if someone has a SHOE phone, it's Get Smart. |

From what I remember from the cartoon, I think it's an Inspector Gadget reference. I don't remember much, but I think he had a phone in his shoe. |

Yeah, it's Get Smart. Maxwell Smart had a shoe-phone. Inspector Gadget's hand was his phone, with the antenna coming out of his thumb, and his pinky as the speaker. |
