One of the 'Sound of Music' songs set to NetHack constraints. Well done.

kor, yes, I'd say it's popular in most english speaking countries. It's a children's song, for remembering the note names. The full song is:

Do, a deer, a female deer. Re, a drop of golden sun!
Mi, a name, I call myself. Fa, a long long way to run!
So, a needle pulling threeead, La, a note to follow Soooo,
Ti, a drink with jam and bread!
And that brings us back to: Do, a deer, a female deer...
and so on.

Well done.

Why does the google ad strip show catWell-known quadruped domestic animal from the family of
predatory felines (_Felis ochreata domestica_), with a thick,
soft pelt; often kept as a pet. Various folklores have the
cat associated with magic and the gods of ancient Egypt.

So Ulthar went to sleep in vain anger; and when the people
awakened at dawn - behold! Every cat was back at his
accustomed hearth! Large and small, black, grey, striped,
yellow and white, none was missing. Very sleek and fat did
the cats appear, and sonorous with purring content.

Maybe it detected the numerous f's on this pageThese strange creatures live mostly on the surface of the
earth, gathering together in societies of various forms, but
occasionally a stray will descend into the depths and commit
mayhem among the dungeon residents who, naturally, often
resent the intrusion of such beasts. They are capable of
using weapons and magic, and it is even rumored that the
Wizard of Yendor is a member of this species.

My bad luck, I'm asked questions I don't know answers to! The one with the altarAltars are of three types:
1. In Temples. These are for Sacrifices [...]. The stone
top will have grooves for blood, and the whole will be covered
with _dry brown stains of a troubling kind_ from former
Sacrifices.
[ The Tough Guide to Fantasyland, by Diana Wynne Jones ]

To every man upon this earth
Death cometh soon or late;
And how can man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his gods?

Nope. Song ads.

EfElbereth^M

Your orcish daggerIs this a dagger which I see before me,
The handle toward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee.
I have thee not, and yet I see thee still.
Art thou not, fatal vision, sensible
To feeling as to sight? or art thou but
A dagger of the mind, a false creation,
Proceeding from the heat-oppressed brain?
I see thee yet, in form as palpable
As this which now I draw.

Incredibly well thought out. I know I couldn't do that one. Also, Google ads: How to lose stomach fat? (the question mark was already there, but still ?) Sympathy gift basket, Bereavement gift basket, and memorial treeI think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
