It seems strange that Wormley did not engulf Dudley before Dudley removed his ringThree Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne,
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

. This strangeness may have a reason of plot.

I pretty much had to be built this way. More effective than a Brrrp from far away. Not a "been there done that" but very plausible as a scenario, hence excellent.

I'm the real Grognor, and everyone who posts after me, even if it is in another strip, is a cheap fake.

You make me sad, clonefake.

So I am not going to post a comment at all until you tire of your incessant trolling and surcease your egregious contumelies.

Peace~~~

Let's face it, that one had to be the real Grognor.

I am the real Grey KnightHere lies the noble fearless knight,
Whose valour rose to such a height;
When Death at last had struck him down,
His was the victory and renown.
He reck'd the world of little prize,
And was a bugbear in men's eyes;
But had the fortune in his age
To live a fool and die a sage.

To be fair, Grognor kinda brought it on himself, especially with that "In a month none of you will even remember this happened" comment. ;-) But we've successfully made it through the month now and even thrown in a few extra days for good measure, let's go make some Dudley strips now instead!

Grognor still takes life too seriously, but it's not my job to fix that!

Humph. How come no one ever clones me? (Well, almost never, and I ain't serious that I'd really want it.)

This reminds me of a really weird BC strip.

No one has quite as fat a head, that's why.

Also, the comic was only Good, but the comments deserve an Excellent. Especially whoever came up with the cursed rusty -1 Grognor and the 23 blessed +1 Grognors (in quiver).
