To Nobody Special: That's NOT a reason to hate wands of cancellation. It's a reason to learn to think before acting. |

Could have been a cursed BoH maybe? Then items would have got lost.
Dav: If you put a cancellation in a BoH, things happen, don't want to say what as it could be a spoiler. |

Jukka: you make thinking sounds so easy. :D Seriously, you can't play 10000 turns of NetHack without doing anything unadvertently. And if you accidentally put your WoC into your BoH, it is a good reason to hate the . (Happened to me once with an unidentified , I'm not stashing them into the any more...) |

You need some experience from public nethack servers before you can understand this. Fair enough. |

Well, standing around swearing is a pretty common reaction to /oC + BoH. |

I usually sit when I play, but if you want to stand, that is your choice.
Oh, and it might be neither a cancellation, nor a cursed baggie. It may have been a tricks. (It does the same thing as a cancellation.) I personally found that out in one of my three games that reached the castle. |

I do not see any wands in the holding. I do see a and a sink. With a that heavy, I can understand why Dudley is Overloaded. |

Obviously the mail comes from the , who on his last little visit tossed a at Dudley's holding - unblessing it and making it heavy again. He must have hit it a second time too, since Dudley's afraid to open it to grab any inside, 'cause a cursed eats your stuff.
So Dudley's stuck there, unable to move, afraid to drop his , and just cursing that damn . Heh. |

So the BOH got cursed and Dudley can't move? But what does a public server have to do with objects getting cursed?
Spoiler : zap the BOH with a WoC. nothing inside is affected |

I recognize Dudley's reaction. I did exactly the same thing the last time I accidentally put a /oC in a BoH. It's got to be the worst feeling I've ever had playing Nethack. I think I that game.
It's far, far worse than getting your BoH cursed. That's trivial, just take a out of your and uncurse the BoH. You do carry a separate for your /oC, BoT and a couple of holy waters, don't you? |

That's so... evil...
AND IT FRIGGIN HAPPENED TO ME!
It happened to me the FIRST time I had one! I knew it would happen! I DID IT ANYWAY! The mid-experienced with /oC and BoH is like the new with floating eyes. YOU CAN'T NOT DO IT!
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!
BOOM
Excellent. |

I don't get it... Why does he keep going on about Money, Food, Succubi and Trees in the second panel?
Did he have them in his BoH? |
