Hm... the execution could be better, but it's not bad. |

Dudley seems to have gotten a wish from a . Or at least there was a generated on top of that when he stepped onto it. Or he got teleported. Or something.
Point being, "/" is . |

Working backwards: 1) since I'm not familiar with Skin Body Armor, this punchline is not by itself that funny to me; 2) the joke seems to be only that a mistaken phrasing of a wish leads to receiving an unexpected kind of armor; 3) the four panels before the wish seem irrelevant as a lead-up to this joke, and the comic would work nearly the same just with the final two panels. The typographical error of / removes any remaining charity, I'm afraid. I hope these comments are actually constructive; keep trying. |

Slowpoke, please check the footnote before commenting. With me, it is vital to the joke. |

Sorry to be unclear. I did follow the link in the footnote when reading the comic the first time. I'm always glad to learn about new things, and am willing to keep an open mind about a joke if my ignorance was key to not getting it on first try. Certainly it's "vital" to this joke to know what the product is, but in this case it didn't do enough for me to raise the humor level.
If my own few comic submissions better, the advice I gave might matter more. :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think he got that armor because of mistaken phrasing; he got that armor because there is no scale mail in this game, it being a more modern setting. Or something like that. |

Correct-a-mundo Antheridium. He typed in "-scale Mail" then hit enter, then realized that there is no Scale Mail, making him say "Agh, wait, no!" |

Any joke where you have to read a 20 article to be able to understand it is a poor joke. |
