I'm not sure whether the point of this comic is "interesting observation" or the pun in that last panel. But it's definitely at least Good. Maybe I'll change my vote to Excellent later. |

Possibly, the point is that while the narrator is commenting on the hyperbole in messages, the messages get more and more important:
First, he's kicking open a . Big deal.
Second, he's breaking open a lock. Sometimes this is risky depending on how you are opening it- prying it open can cause your blade to break, and knocking it with a bludgeon can break items in the . Also, he could get something useful in there.
Third, he's breaking a and making a pun. Breaking a is usually a violent decision which affects gameplay immediately and somewhat long-term. It's dangerous for low-level players, and it gives an excellent advantage in the current fight with the drawback of losing the .
While the messages increase in importance, he continues to depreciate them. At least, that's how I read into it. And of course there's a deliciously horrible pun in true Nerd style. |

Observation: In the footnote, the boiling is followed by an exclamation point, but "You die..." is not. Everything's exciting except the 's . |

I think the joke here is 'breaking news' as in the news that somthing has broken and how dear old dudley wishes that the game would not let such things happen etc. |

Well, it was pretty hard to find the joke, but whatever it was, it was fairly funny. F. |

My interpretation? It's the pun that counts, because every panel involved something breaking. |
