You are lucky!
Full moon tonight.

@ "Murphy's Law of NetHack:"
Drink from the
fountainRest! This little Fountain runs
Thus for aye: -- It never stays
For the look of summer suns,
Nor the cold of winter days.
Whose'er shall wander near,
When the Syrian heat is worst,
Let him hither come, nor fear
Lest he may not slake his thirst:
He will find this little river
Running still, as bright as ever.
Let him drink, and onward hie,
Bearing but in thought, that I,
Erotas, bade the Naiad fall,
And thank the great god Pan for all!

Pretty good ;-) Next screen should have..

A werewolf opens the doorThrough me you pass into the city of woe:
Through me you pass into eternal pain:
Through me among the people lost for aye.
Justice the founder of my fabric mov'd:
To rear me was the task of power divine,
Supremest wisdom, and primeval love.
Before me things create were none, save things
Eternal, and eternal I endure.
All hope abandon ye who enter here.

Yep. Simple, elegant Dudley's, just like the good old days.

Yes! TrueGrog got to it first! Okay, any comments by "Grognor" below, just disregard.

Because they'll be fake.

I can tell you right now, that's still not going to stop this stalker of yours. Not a chance in Gehennom.

I'm glad to see a return to the short and sweet comics.

How sad: You shouldn't play on full moon, new moon, or Friday-the-13th.

Maybe if all of you, fakes, hadn't started that stuff about who is the real Grognor, I could have relaxed.

But now, I'll smite all of you, fakes.

I'd call it Dudley's Law.

That's not bad luck, that's just the game's way of teaching you not to drink from fountains in the early game... Not that Dudley's very good at learning these things. Heh.

But where's the fun in being sensible?

And if the game says nothing either way regarding your luck...

You're still unlucky. Fancy that.
