These "Slashem" comics never feel like actual slashem. Actually, I die in slashem somewhat sooner than in nethack, so I really don't know what actual slashem is like, other than rabbits and reviving fungi corpses and Minetown not being in the mines. (... for nethack at Dlvl 10 or below, I read this comic.) |

The "Planetar" (which might be the @ or the A) seems to be fighting the "phase " and "two-headed ". To be consistent with panels 2 and 4, The @ by the would be Dudley.
Maybe the last panel is a hint that slashem will displace nethack as the leading hack variant. |

... That was wrong. Dudley must be the @ by the A, T, and s, because I just noticed the text ("The phase bites!") indicating that Dudley is attacked. That means the other @ might be a weresomething? or a Slashem "mugger"? |

The way I saw it, Dudley steps through the and sees another nethacker being attacked by the three monsters, then turns around and leaves.

I can see a black bar under panel 3, regardless of font size. I'm with Mozilla5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; ja-JP; rv:1.7.6) 20050524 Firefox/1.0.4 (Ubuntu package 1.0.2 MFSA2005-44). |

I have a black bar under panel 1. When I see it, I try another browser. At least always works... |

Massive multiplayer NetHack would be bad, no, SO bad. Maybe a cooperative mode like 2 friends playing in a room... |
