The middle frame looks like Astral.
"He left it dead, and with its head, he went gallumphing back." |

Ah, yes, you're right.
"And, hast thou slain the ? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! A frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!" He chortled in his joy.

"Acid blobs" loosely rhymes with "Keystone Kops".

I was just looking back over the comic archives and noticed something weird with this Japperwocky comic. When you hover the mouse pointer over the text that has a black background, like the b, K, and i in this comic, it tells you what it stands for. And apperlently b is not acid blobs, but quiv' blobs. |

I spelled Jabberwocky wrong, damn it. I'm still half asleep. And the grey/silver text does the same thing as well. |

Only trouble being, the spirit doesn't rhyme with planes (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/) |
